BDA – German BDA

A leading Global supplier of Ingredients and Premix Manufacturing solutions for the Food and Beverage industry is seeking a German Speaking BDA. As their business continues to grow, another member of their existing team is needed. This is a hybrid role based in London.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Commercial team on the daily executions of the core details listed below. You will be a key figure in the customer service experience, with direct contact to both clients and suppliers. You must be very comfortable with working in a fast-paced and constantly evolving commercial environment.

Key Duties:

  • Taking, confirming and inputting customer orders
  • Monitoring customers and liaising closely with commercial, logistics and quality departments
  • Inputting purchase orders
  • Dealing with customer queries and responding in a timely manner
  • Sending any requested quality documents to customer and liaising with quality team when necessary
  • Sending product samples to customers when required. This will involve either handling samples in the office or liaising with warehouses to request samples from sample stock or from inventory.
  • Sending price quotes to customer, liaising with Product Management team for this and collecting necessary information from customers

Logistics Coordinator – French Speaking

With the expected growth in Europe, our client is adding team members who will be involved specifically in their EU Operations. The French Speaking Logistics Coordinator will join a dynamic Logistics & Customer Service team who are responsible for managing the daily business operations including Imports, Warehouses, deliveries to customers, Exports outside Europe and Demand Planning.

The Key Duties will be:

  • Arranging deliveries to customers from warehouses in UK and EU by road, ferry and courier
  • Liaison with customers, warehouses and carriers
  • Input of correct information onto internal system, to create forward allocations and warehouse instructions
  • Invoicing customers promptly, with correct VAT calculated
  • Preparing shipping documents (warehouse instructions, packing lists, commercial invoices, dangerous good notes, packaging labels etc.)
  • Monthly stock reconciliations, and handling follow-on enquiries from the finance department

The successful candidate will be proactive, organised, and hands-on individual with excellent business communication skills. Must speak fluent French and English and strong Logistics/Shipping experience. Must also be self-motivated and be able to multi-task. It’s important to be able to work across simultaneous projects. Sales Support Administrator

A new position is available for this freight forwarder based in Colnbrook for a Sales Support Administrator, the role is ideally a full-time role but flexible working and shorter hours would also be considered. The afternoon period would need to be covered from lunchtime onwards. Some hybrid working may be possible post probation.
The successful candidate should have some previous freight forwarding knowledge, excellent communication skills (verbal & written) and good commercial awareness. Previous experience of quotations is desirable, some ‘on the job’ training will be provided.

Duties

  • Attending to quotes for new and existing customers
  • Processing sales leads, in and outgoing
  • Marketing, as in qualifying leads from the internet
  • Responsible for the admin sales support functions (Can be further explored and discussed at interview stage)

Requirements

  • Good IT skills Microsoft office knowledge, (Excel/Word)

Export Operative

A new position is available for an Export Operative to join this well established SME Freight forwarding agent based in Colnbrook. The Export Operative will assist with the smooth running of the department. Plenty of opportunity for future progression.

The role of Export Operative will involve, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

  • Ensure all export shipments are collected by the correct vehicle, the documentation is in order and exported to the client`s satisfaction (air, sea & road).
  • Ensure custom entries are completed correctly using the correct CPC code and the entry is scanned to the NES Folder, along with scanning all relevant Export Documents to file.
  • Completion of Customs paperwork – Air, Sea & Road.
  • Complete quotations for new and existing clients – Commercial and Overseas.

Essential

  • Recent experience of working within an Export environment.
  • Hold a full UK driving licence.
  • Good knowledge of the English language, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to prioritise and organise own workload to tight deadline.
  • Strong communication skills: The ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

Employment Terms

Working 09:00-18:00 Monday to Friday, including a 1hr paid break per day.
£30-35k DOE plus overtime

Warehouse & Forklift Operative

A new position is available for a Warehouse & Forklift Operative to work Mon-Fri 11-7 later day shift. Our client are an international freight forwarding agent who are based in Colnbrook and growing rapidly. Excellent prospects are available for the right candidate.
Successful candidates should have previous warehousing experience ideally forwarding/shipping or logistics, (not essential) and should preferably have a valid forklift licence, steady employment record, driving licence and a good work ethic.

  • Previous Warehousing experience from within freight/shipping or Logistics Industry (Preferred, not essential)
  • Counter Balance FLT Licence (preferred not essential)
  • Steady 5 year employment history (no gaps)
  • Driving Licence (able to commute easily to Colnbrook)
  • Reliable, hard working and punctual
  • Physically fit
