Operations Coordinator
Our client are a Large Global Logistics Forwarder who have an exciting new opportunity available for an Operations Coordinator based at their specialist cargo division in Farnborough. The successful applicant will have previous freight forwarding operational experience (primarily airfreight imports and/or exports, including Customs clearance).
Employment Terms for the Operations Coordinator
- 5 Hours (1 Hour for Lunch) 5 Days per week Mon – Fri
- Office Based
- Healthcare after 1 year
- 25 days holiday

Some Skills & Requirements
The role can range from handling Imports and Exports to specialist international installation and “white glove” deliveries in all modes, as well as movement of sensitive or high value equipment.
General freight forwarding experience required, not specific to modality. The candidate should demonstrate reliability and good time keeping.
- GCSE level
- General Freight Forwarding (Import/Export) experience.
- Customs Clearance knowledge
- Basic Microsoft Work/Excel experience
- Ability to work well within a Team.
- The candidate should be flexible, show a willingness to learn and develop new skills and have the ability to work under pressure.

Our client is an established Freight Forwarder since the 1940s and has developed a Worldwide Freight Forwarding activity by air, road and sea. The experienced European Operator will work in a positive team environment working in a brand new office.
Some Skills & Requirements
- You will have a minimum of 3 years Freight Forwarding experience in European Road Freight.
- It will be an advantage to have an understanding of post Brexit Customs Clearance requirements but not essential.
- You will have confident and clear communication skills and a proven success of building customer and supplier relationships.

International Operations Trainee
Our client are a small established freight forwarder who have an exciting entry level role for an International Operations Trainee to join the team. The successful person should have excellent verbal and written English communication skills, a good standard of education (min GCSE Maths & English passes) and proficient with Word/Outlook.
Some key duties and resposibilities
- The candidate duties will be to directly assist and work with the Supervisor & Manager, to carry out tasks under their guidance.
- Answer the telephones providing information and assistance to callers
- Deal with incoming messages/mail and deliver them to the appropriate individuals at the first opportunity
- Use appropriate software packages to record operational work undertaken producing reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Our client a Shipping Line in London is seeking an experienced Pricing Marketing Analyst. The main purpose of the role will be to perform Marketing Pricing analyst role implementing and communicating Trade Policy and objectives through day to day activities for AET.

- To act as Marketing Pricing Focal Point for designated regions whilst demonstrating a sound awareness of the regional commodities/markets and operational infrastructure.

- To perform regular structural review of regions performance against target levels and follow up on any performance deviations.
- To work aforementioned regions and monitor any deviations in performance
- Responding to rate requests in a timely fashion whilst analysing and judging business contribution in the context of current/prospected market conditions as well as Trade/Region performance
- Completing timely and accurate tender submissions demonstrating commercial awareness and sound pricing in the process.
- Complete regular KPI reports and follow up on any deviations
- To perform regular structural review of regions performance against target levels and follow up on any performance deviations.
