Assistant Finance Manager

Our client are a prestigious International Gallery who produces and exhibits functional sculptures by international rising and established artists and designers and is actively involved in the research and production of limited edition works. They have galleries in Paris, London, New York, and Los Angeles.

Some Main Duties

  • Monthly reporting of sales from US galleries and intercompany sales with other group entities.
  • Monthly cashflow reporting for the New York and Los Angeles galleries.
  • Recording of stock purchases and movements across the US galleries and between other group companies.
  • Full responsibility for the month-end close process and preparation of management accounts.
  • Monthly P&L production with variance-to-budget analysis.
  • Liaising with outsourced accounting support for bookkeeping and ensuring accurate financial records are maintained.
  • Supporting payroll and benefits administration for US employees.

Some Skills & Requirements

  • Degree in finance and accounting.
  • US CPA or equivalent qualification
  • At least five years of accounting experience.
  • Experience with US tax regulations.
  • Systems: Sage X3.

Logistics Coordinator – Polish Speaking

An experienced Polish Speaking Logistics Coordinator is required by our client a leading global supplier of Ingredients who are based in London.

Main Duties

  • Arranging deliveries to customers from warehouses in UK and EU by road, ferry, and courier
  • Liaison with customers, warehouses, and carriers
  • Input of correct information onto internal system, to create forward allocations and warehouse instructions.
  • Invoicing customers promptly, with correct VAT calculated.
  • Preparing shipping documents (warehouse instructions, packing lists, commercial invoices, dangerous goods notes, packaging labels etc.)
  • Handling enquiries, complaints and other aspects of customer service as required.
  • Monthly stock reconciliations and handling follow-on enquiries from the finance department.
  • Handling non-conformances
  • Occasional on-site inspection of warehouses

Accountant – Spanish Speaking

A Spanish Speaking Accountant is required for our client based in London for a FTC of 1 year. This is a hybrid role and very flexible. The successful candidate will be working for a leading global supplier of Ingredients for the Food, Beverage and Nutrition industries.

Some Main Duties

  • Allocating Bank Transactions
  • Followin up overdue sales invoices
  • Releasing overdue or over limit sales invoices
  • Making any contract change requested by the Spanish team
  • SII reporting every 4 days
  • Intercompany cash transfers

Import Clerk

Due to expansion an exciting opportunity is available for an Import Clerk to join this small freight forwarding agent. You will have some experience of imports and Customs procedures together with excellent communication and customer service skills.

Employment Terms

  • £30-35k DOE & Neg
  • Mon – Friday 9-5.30
  • 20 days holiday plus BH
  • Paid overtime if required

Some Skills & Requirements

  • Experience of airfreight import processes and documentation
  • Customs Entry Experience /CDS
  • Knowledge of using freight software (Multi-Freight experience useful but not req)
  • Open to learning other modes/will cross train on exports
  • Excellent English Communication and Customer service skills – verbal & written

Export Clerk

Our client are a small, expanding freight forwarding specialising in the niche fine art shipping’ industry who have an exciting new role available for an experienced air export professional to join the expanding team. Must have previous air export knowledge, ops and Customs experience. This is an opportunity to be involved in an expanding business as a key member of the team.

  • Previous air export ops & Customs knowledge
  • Able to cut and rate Master/House waybills
  • Knowledge of Customs entries and various Customs systems (CDS)
  • Experience of shipping fine arts & hi value goods advantageous
  • Quotes . Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential
