Freight Forwarding Operator – Live Events

Our client are a rapidly expanding Live Events shipper based at Heathrow who are looking for a new Team Member to join the established experienced ops department. This is a Permanent job based in Heathrow.

A new exciting opportunity for an experienced freight forwarding operator, any experience of live events would be very advantageous and the top salary can be very negotiable/generous for the right person.

Some Key Resposibilities

  • Responsible for quotes, both airfreight and oceanfreight, imports and exports, including cross trade shipments.
  • Preparing and processing export documentation including MAWB, HAWB and security documents.
  • Import and export customs clearances under ATA carnet, Temporary imports and exports.
  • Attending site at the biggest music and sports events all over the world to monitor unload/load of ocean containers/trucks for events.

Some Skills & Requirements

  • Freight Forwarding Ops and Customs knowledge essential
  • Keen interest in Live Events and/or music
  • Car Driver
  • Steady employment with ideally no gaps and able to pass a CLEAR criminal record check

Employment Terms

  • Salary is negotiable and depends on level of experience, £30-40k
  • Benefits – 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, healthcare after 1 year
  • Monday – Friday 9-5.30 1/3 weekend cover (paid)

Pricing Executive

Our client are a small, well established freight forwarder based in Chertsey who due to exciting expansion have a new role available for a Pricing Executive. The successful candidate should have previous experience of pricing/quotations from within the freight forwarding industry. This is a Mon-Friday/37.5hr week and excellent prospects are available for the right person.

Some Key Resposibilities

  • Quoting the best prices to our customers and agents
  • Ensure a strong rapport is kept with our customers and agents
  • Chasing for feedback so we can continue to improve our rates and services
  • Negotiating rates with airlines, agents and hauliers
  • Ensure the quotes are properly handed over to operations after a booking
  • Ensure to work compliantly with AEO and compliance procedures.

German Speaking Logistics Customer Care Associate

A German Speaking Logistics Associate is required for our client an international FMCG company based in London. This is a hybrid role with excellent benefits. The German Speaking Logistics Associate will join a dynamic team and be responsible for managing the daily business operations including warehouses, deliveries to customers, exports outside Europe and demand planning.

Some Key Resposibilities

  • Arranging deliveries to customers from warehouses in UK and EU by road, ferry and courier
  • Liaison with customers, warehouses and carriers
  • Input of correct information onto internal system, to create forward allocations and warehouse instructions
  • Invoicing customers promptly, with correct VAT calculated
  • Preparing shipping documents (warehouse instructions, packing lists, commercial invoices, dangerous goods notes, packaging labels etc.)
  • Handling enquiries, complaints and other aspects of customer service as required
  • Monthly stock reconciliations, and handling follow-on enquiries from the finance department
  • Handling non-conformances

It is essential the successful candidate is fluent in German and English and has a Logistics background, preferably within the FMCG industry. You will be pro-active, organised, and hands-on and have excellent business communication skills.

Dutch Speaking Logistics BDA

Do you speak Dutch ? Do you have experience in Logistics ? An excellent opportunity is available for a sought after Food Distributor based in London. This is a hybrid role and will work only 2 days per week in the office. As part of a busy team, you will be responsible for supporting the commercial team on the daily execution of the core duties detailed below. Will be a key figure in the customer service experience, with durect contact to both clients and suppliers.

Some Key Resposibilities

  • Making, confirming and inputting customer orders
  • Monitoring customers and liaising closely with commercial, logistics and quality departments
  • Inputting purchase orders
  • Dealing with customer queries and responding in a timely manner
  • Sending any requested quality documents to customer and liaising with quality team when necessary
  • Sending product samples to customers when required. This will involve either handling samples in the
    office or liaising with warehouses to request samples from sample stock or from inventory.
  • Sending price quotes to customer, liaising with Product Management team for this and collecting necessary information from customers
  • Assisting with lead qualification

Fluency in English and Dutch is essential (Native level). Must be detailed orientated with excellent organisational skills. Strong Microsoft Excel skills and have a professional business presence and acumen.
