Our client is a leading global supplier of ingredients and premix manufacturing solutions for the food and beverage industry. They are seeking and experienced Quality Technologist (Customer Pillar), for their office in London on a hybrid basis. The main part to this role will be to complete questionnaires and customer queries. Day to day Duties:
- Complete customer questionnaires daily based on regulatory and supplier information available.
- Respond to technical queries from customers and suppliers related to their ingredients, as well as quality and food safety etc.
- Execute and participate in projects identified by the business for a continuous improvement of the Quality Management System.
- Taking part in the KAM team.
- Support all other Quality department tasks according to workload and priorities, such as:
- Arranging 3rd party laboratory analyses
- Updates and reviews of product documentation, including specification, COA, SDS, allergens, GMO, animal feed labels, packaging, HACCP, etc.
- Reviews on Standard Operating Procedures and other controlled documents
- Questionnaires and statements for customers.
- Training and presentations
- 3rd party & customers audit /visits.
The successful candidate will have a great understanding of Quality (Technical) requirements and standards of the food industry: HACCP, BRC Food or Agents and Brokers, FAMI-QS (animal feed), Organic/BIO, Kosher, Halal, ISO 9001. Over 3 years experience in a Quality, Technical or R&D role in the Food, Ingredients or Supplements industry. Knowledge of auditing and be IT literate.
