Shipping Customer Support Coordinator

An exciting opportunity to join a Global Supplier of Vitamin, Minerals and Ingredients has arisen for an experienced Customer Support Coordinator, to be based in Kent. Our clients customers are major Food Manufacturers with high quality expectations so most of the key responsibilities are needed.

  • Customer Order Processing using ERP system.
  • Entering product information
  • Despatch and delivery information
  • Delivery instructions and relevant details
  • Customer purchase order information
  • Pricing/Costings relevant to Purchase Orders
  • Stock holding
  • Stock Management for Key Account Customers
  • Completing out of the ERP systems customer trackers for open orders information

Despatching orders from internal and external Warehouse:

  • Despatching relevant paperwork from ERP system
  • Producing relevant Documentation using external bodies
  • Preparing paperwork signed by Warehouse
  • Filing paperwork
  • Completing OTIF data on trackers outside of the ERP system

Invoicing customers despatched orders using ERP system:

  • Sending invoices electronically to customers
  • Sending invoices to customers address
  • Answering any invoicing issues with finance and customers


  • Booking Transport with Couriers and Hauliers
  • Sending loading instructions to hauliers
  • Working with Warehouse to ensure loading requirements are processed correctly
  • Obtaining PODs from Hauliers and Couriers when required
  • Tracking Shipments as and when required
  • Advising Hauliers of any pallet weight or quantity changes
  • Updating customer with any transit delays

Customer Service:

  • Being main point of contact for the customers
  • Dealing with customer complaints
  • Advising customers of any delays with their orders
  • Keeping customer information up to date at all times.

There will also be some Sales Support and providing Sales Managers with sales data and attending any customer conference calls when required. Will be working closely with the Production Planning and Quality team to ensure produced stock can be released in time and working with the Technical team to ensure information in system is correct. Working with the Production team on any customer requirements and working with the Warehouse team to ensure all customer requirements are met before the stock is loaded with hauliers. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 2 Years in Logistics and also extensive experience in Customer Support/ Account Management. You will have the ability to prioritise,plan, work to tight deadlines and manage a complex administrative demands. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Excellent numeracy skills. Confident and able to work independently. Air, Sea and Road Shipping experience and Export Documentation. Food and Beverage industry experience will be an advantage. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate.
